GREENNFIT BLOCK REBUILD

On April 23, 2016, we will once again be sponsoring and working on one of the 25 houses in the Revitalize CDC’s GreenNFit Block Rebuild. It is a wonderful event, where you can really make a difference in someone’s life by painting, doing some yard work…

SAFE PASSAGE HOT CHOCOLATE RUN

On December 4, 2016, Alekman DiTusa is again sponsoring The Hot Chocolate Run to support Safe Passage. Safe Passage helps families affected by domestic violence. In addition to being sponsors, Attorney Ryan Alekman will be running the 5K. Please consider donating to help support this worthy cause.

NEW NORTH CITIZENS COUNCIL TURKEYS

For many years we have been donating turkeys through the New North Citizens Council to help people celebrate Thanksgiving. Today I met some great people, and heard about how they plan to cook the turkeys.

Thank you Link to Libraries and Pottenger Elementary School for letting me read “Marvelous Cornelius” to Ms. Clark’s amazing 4th Grade class. Link To Libraries promotes childhood literacy by distributing books to children.

MAYFLOWER MARATHON

Please join us in supporting Rock 102’s Mayflower Marathon at the Basketball Hall of Fame. We are once again sponsoring the school challenge, and will be donating $1,000 to the school that collects the most food for the Open Pantry.

CREDIT FOR LIFE

Liliana (legal assistant extraordinaire), and I, volunteered this morning at the Credit For Life, a financial literacy program at STCC. Several hundred Springfield high school students were trying to maneuver through life as a 25 year old (job, credit score, insurance…). We met some of the future leaders of Springfield.
