Attorney Alex J. Grant served as a federal prosecutor for 26 years, including 16 years at the U.S. Attorney’s office in Springfield. He has tried over 50 cases to verdict, and he has briefed and argued numerous appeals. As a federal prosecutor, he sought justice on behalf of victims of online child exploitation, sexual abuse, human trafficking, and financial fraud. He received his office’s victim’s rights award for his effective and sensitive work with victims of federal crimes. Alex also received a national award from the Department of Justice for his successful prosecution of a recidivist child sexual predator. In private practice before joining the government, and as an adjunct professor of law at Western New England for the past 17 years, Alex has also developed an expertise in products liability through his teaching, publications, and case work. Alex has a long track record of standing up for victims who have been harmed by powerful individual and corporate actors.
