The facts of the case are sad but notable. Our client, Jane Doe, was repeatedly sexually abused as a child by her step father. As an adult, she found the courage to come forward and file a civil suit against her abuser.

On May 29, 2018, our client was a 76 year old passenger in minivan which was involved in a multi-vehicle car accident. The collision occurred when the driver of a car lost control of his car, crossed over into oncoming traffic, and struck a minivan. The minivan was then rear ended by a third vehicle.

Our client was a 56 year old woman who was injured when she fell down a flight of stairs at her apartment complex. She fell while ascending a flight of stairs between the basement and the 1st floor. Although she grasped the handrail, the railing pulled away from the wall, causing her to lose her grip and fall down the stairs.

On May 20, 2011, our client, 26 at the time, was painting a support post on the second floor of an apartment building on Worthington Ave. in Springfield, Mass. when the ladder he was on slipped, and he fell 30 feet to the parking lot below. In the process, he fractured both of his heels, a vertebra in his lower back (L-4) and his right wrist.

On the evening of February 25, 2019, a local pizza restaurant’s intoxicated customer lost control of his car and struck our client’s car in a head-on collision. In 2011, our law firms jointly filed a consumer protection class action lawsuit on behalf of Massachusetts consumers against Progressive Insurance Company. On Friday, January 29, 2016, the settlement received final approval from the United Stated District Court in Boston.
